I won’t bother mentioning them all, but the ones of note include: TGI Friday's (open 24 hours) Cornerstone (fine dining) Ping Pang Pong (casual fare, noted as some of the best Chinese food and dim sum in Las Vegas) Subway (casual, 24 hours) Ports O' Call (decent buffet, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the Noodle Exchange, which specializes in Asian hot pots. For the foodies, the Gold Coast features a number of mostly casual eateries.

Again, the general theme here is one that tends to place an emphasis on locals and an older clientele hence, the fairly relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Importantly, if you want to return to 'Sin City' proper, the Gold Coast offers a complimentary shuttle service, which I've used a couple of times because I 'may as well get used to it now' ) In terms of services and activities, the Gold Coast features a comprehensive gift and sundry shop bowling lanes massive BINGO room swimming pool and weight room and a plethora of slot and table games. In saying that, though, you're not devoid of action. Located about 1.5 kilometers away from all the Vegas action, the Gold Coast offers something of a reprieve for those who want a break from the noise, overly bright lights and hyper energy that define The Strip. Let me explain why: Perhaps one of the biggest advantages to staying at The Gold Coast is its modest distance from The Strip. However, I must be getting older because since that initial stay, and the many that've followed (2011, 2012, 2013, 20), I actually find myself preferring the laid back and quiet atmosphere afforded by the Gold Coast as opposed to the hustle and bustle of most Strip casinos like the New York New York or Linq. At the time, I viewed and saw this hotel & casino as “average” at best and couldn’t wait to transfer back to the Strip following the bingo game. We were here for the “Power Bingo” $500,000 jackpot event, which was a 2-day affair. I first stayed here back in 2010 with my grandparents. It’s a smaller casino catering more to locals and an older crowd. First opened in 1986, the Gold Coast is located just off the Strip and is adjacent to both the Rio and Palms.
